When viewing a title and a poster of this film, which first came to mind was the B movie, and that absolutely no one. Splinter is a decent B movie can thumbs up. Although still using the old formula but Toby Wilkins, the director, seems pretty sharp in the execution of this formula to be ready for a spectacle which is presented in a cinema.
The story is simple. As simple as a stack of horror movies that Hollywood productions are usually packaged as a DVD directly. Perhaps because of the many quality horror films that do not we also sometimes assumed that all horror films can not be enjoyed. Toby was denied by Splinter. As a horror film, Splinter deserve applause. Not because the script is brilliant, acting class A, or the basic idea that phenomenal like AVATAR. Splinter worthy of praise for his ability to cultivate herbs that have been used to be a tense suspense concoction.
One key is the right timing. Toby did not want to sell out the monster is too often that a clot curiosity exploded when it became this vicious creature emerged. Not that the actors and actresses who played in this film can not credit worthy. They played pretty good although probably not going to praise this Osar produce them. At least they look quite natural in the action so the audience can feel more of their involvement with the characters Play.
